We encourage observing a class before joining.
Children's classes increase self-confidence and coordination, hone concentration, and cultivate a cooperative spirit in a playful environment. Classes are open to children ages 5 to 13.
The School offers a special Beginners Series for adults and teens several times a year, focusing on basic Aikido movement and technique. The Series provides a foundation for attending general classes.
General classes are available for adults and teens at all levels of practice.
Students may begin at any time and attend as many classes as they wish.
Adult general students are encouraged to attend beginner classes also.
The Seattle Washington branch of Shinto-Ryu Iai-Battojutsu,
a school of Japanese swordsmanship, practices on Saturday mornings.
Visitors from other Dojos
We welcome visitors from both local and out-of-town dojos to train with us. The first visit to the dojo is complimentary; thereafter, the mat fee is $15.
Private lessons are available to regular members and those unable to attend regular classes. Fees are based on a sliding scale.
